CLIMATE-DECK™ FLOOR & ROOF SYSTEMS

CLIMATE-DECK™ FLOOR & ROOF SYSTEMS

CLIMATE-DECK™  SIZE & SPANS

FLOOR & ROOF SYSTEMS ARE CUT INTO (3) DIFFERENT SIZES AND JOINED TOGETHER CAN SPAN (3) SEPARATE LENGTHS

24' SPAN = (2) 18" x 48" x 144" CLIMATE-DECK™

36' SPAN = (3) 24" x 48" x 144" CLIMATE-DECK™

50' SPAN = (4.1) 24" x 48" x 144" CLIMATE-DECK™

CLIMATE-DECK™ Floor/Ceiling/Roof Systems are made from EPS, (Expanded Polystyrene) foam blocks into concrete forms by wire cutting them into our PATENT PENDING FLOOR/ROOF designs.

CLIMATE-DECK™ Floor/Ceiling/Roof Systems can be manufactured any where at any company with the right equipment to wire cut the foam to our specification which drastically reduces shipping costs from manufacturing to the job site.

CLIMATE-DECK™  uses (5) plastic parts to create several different connections within the Floor/Roof and Ceiling systems.

  1. EXTERIOR REBAR CHAIR
  2. INTERIOR REBAR CAGE/CONNECTOR
  3. VERTICAL CEILING TIE
  4. LOCKING PIN WEDGE
  5. UNISTRUT TO CEILING T-TIE = This tie is coming soon for light weight concrete roofs for Tilt-Up & Industrial buildings

CLIMATE-DECK™ Floor/Ceiling/Roof Systems revolutionary designs provide four primary functions.

  1. CLIMATE-DECK™ Floor/Ceiling/Roof Systems are a concrete form for PLACING STRUCTURAL REBAR & CONCRETE.
  2. CLIMATE-DECK™ Floor/Ceiling/Roof Systems unique ability to connect the FINISH FRAMING ceiling members below and mechanically fasten them to the structural concrete beams above.
  3. CLIMATE-DECK™ Floor/Ceiling/Roof Systems can be custom cut to create MECHANICAL OPENINGS that will accommodate STANDARD HVAC DUCTING to our designed specifications. NO OTHER EPS FLOOR SYSTEM ON THE MARKET CAN DO ALL 4 OF THESE.
  4. CLIMATE-DECK™ Floor/Ceiling/Roof Systems provide ridged foam insulation between the conditioned space below and the structural concrete Floors/Roofs above, this sandwich panel type design creates THERMAL MASS and produces an EXTREMELY HIGH STC, (sound transmission class) rating for the building.

CLIMATE-DECK™ ROLL BUCKS

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

CLIMATE-DECK™ can use ALUMINUM ROLL BUCKS attached to the shoring equipment to temporarily brace the foam during forming and pouring.

CLIMATE-DECK™ PLASTICS

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

CLIMATE-DECK™ use ONLY 4 PLASTIC PARTS to create several different connections within the Floor/Roof and Ceiling systems.

1 = EXTERIOR REBAR CHAIR

2 = INTERIOR REBAR CAGE/CONNECTOR

3 = VERTICAL CEILING TIE

4 = LOCKING WEDGE PIN

#1 - CLIMATE-DECK™ PLASTICS - EXTERIOR REBAR CHAIR

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

CLIMATE-DECK™ PLASTICS - EXTERIOR REBAR CHAIRS are designed to hold the structural rebar cage in the exact geometric formation specified by the structural engineer. These chairs are also the connection point between the framed ceiling below, and the structural concrete beam above.

#2 - CLIMATE-DECK™ INTERIOR REBAR CAGE/CONNECTOR

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

CLIMATE-DECK™ INTERIOR REBAR CAGE/CONNECTORS are engineered plastic rebar placement gigs that hold the structural rebar in the exact spacing and a 2" clearance from the concrete edge as designed by the structural engineer.

#3 - CLIMATE-DECK™ - VERTICAL CEILING TIE

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

CLIMATE-TIES™ VERTICAL CEILING TIES are designed to mechanically fasten the ceiling furring members below to the structural concrete beams above.

#4 - CLIMATE-DECK™ - LOCKING PIN WEDGE

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

CLIMATE-TIES™ LOCKING PIN WEDGES are designed to mechanically lock the VERTICAL CEILING TIES to the EXTERIOR REBAR CHAIRS and the structural concrete beams.

CLIMATE-TIES™ WALL SYSTEMS PLASTICS

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

CLIMATE-TIES™ Walls Systems are made from injection molded PLASTIC POLYMERS.

CLIMATE-TIES™ Wall Systems are currently designed to work with two of the main concrete foundation forming systems on the market, Aluminum & Steel Concrete Panel Forms.

CLIMATE-TIES™ Wall Systems have ONLY 4 PLASTIC COMPONENTS.

1 = CENTER TIE or Interior Center of Wall Tie

2 = CENTER TIE w/POSTS: or Interior Center of Wall w/90º Corner Tie Connection Posts

3 = T-TIE or Exterior of Wall T-Tie

4 = 90º CORNER TIE or  Exterior Corner Tie

#1 - CLIMATE-TIES™ - CENTER TIE

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

CENTER TIE: This tie is placed in the concrete wall by way of inserting a de-burred & tempered metal concrete form tie through the center of the plastic center tie and placing it to the concrete forms securing it between the interior and exterior concrete panels.

Once the concrete has been poured and the forms are stripped from the concrete wall, the de-burred & tempered metal concrete form ties will be removed, leaving an opening for the T-Tie to enter and mechanically lock itself to the concrete wall.

This is accomplished with our PATEN PENDING DESIGN that uses Zip-Tie type technology to MECHANICALLY LOCK them together.

#2 - CLIMATE-TIES™ - CENTER TIE w/POSTS

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

CENTER TIE W/POSTS: This tie is used only at 90º CORNERS w/POST SIDE facing exterior corner.

#3 - CLIMATE-TIES™ - T-TIE

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

T-TIE: This tie is inserted into the CENTER TIE that is ready to have furring strips such as metal or wood mechanically fastened to them creating a surface to attach exterior cladding to.

#4 - CLIMATE-TIES™ - 90º CORNER TIE

NOTE: Photos are of prototypes only and are not an exact representative of the finished product.

90º CORNER TIE: This tie is attached by locking itself to a CENTER TIE w/POSTS The center tie has custom attachment posts.

The out most exterior edges of this tie are designed to insert the CENTER TIE w/POSTS to one of the two sides, creating an attachment point for the T-TIE that will be flush with the exterior edge of the concrete wall.

This will allow the framing contractor to create a 90º/CALIFORNIA CORNER to attach the furring strips to.

Construction & Design Tips!

Building with Climate Tech Building Systems™ is unlike any system on the market and requires precise planning so the building's construction can flow smoothly.

Mapping out Walls and floors with WELL PLANNED APERTURES (RE: HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical Openings Etc), are vital keys to building with the Climate Tech Building Systems™. Since the entire shell is going to be encased in concrete, Cutting, Moving and Re-Routing, Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC openings are much more difficult  with concrete than EWP's (Engineered Wood Products) and conventional lumber.

Post-Construction

Once Architects, Engineer's, Builders and Owners truly see the countless and amazing benefits of the Climate Tech Building Systems™, we're pretty sure they will never go back to standard building methods again.
